Eye shadow is a cosmetic product that is applied to the eyelids or makes them more attractive. Eye shadows are available in different colors and textures. It is usually made from a powder, but it can also be found as a liquid, pencil, cream, or mousse. There are three basic rules for combining eye shadow.
1. Always wear neutral eye shadows - apply neutral eye shadows with highlights which will keep the look more wearable and soften the overall look.
2. Always Mix Finishes - Eye shadows are available in matte, gloss and matte finishes. Wearing all the sparkle in your eyes will make you look like a disco ball.
3. Use light, medium and dark colors: a combination of these three colors will give you a round look with lots of dimension.
